So I was looking through the Time Magazine's website for my economics class when I saw this article. I admit I lol'd at the result, but if Time only knew what really goes down in 4chan, this result would have never happened.

For those that are unaware of moot and his creation (4chan) here is a picture of moot which also sums up 4chan.

Did Time seriously not know they were being raided and the votes were all scripted? However for all the legions of anonymous out there, I hope you are happy with the influx of [email protected] and putting 4chan into the mainstream.

I voted for moot multiple times, as well as for a few other people. 4chan has been "in the mainstream" for a while now, so it's already too late.

Yeay, obama got beat! Considering the TV and print media is always drooling over him, this is kind of an interesting development.

However, publicizing 4chan is not the best of ideas IMO.

Moot was far more influential than those tools. None of them got hundreds (thousands?) of people organizing and running vote scripts to push him to the top.
